I spent the winter practicing golf in my garage and traveling. It was a wonderful winter, really, one of the best I’ve ever experienced.
But spring means golf!
I bought a new seasonal pass at my local golf course and I’ve already been out five or six times. Scoring is not something I’m going to discuss at the moment as I’m not even playing tee to green yet. I’m dropping balls where I feel like it and practicing shots. When I do play a full hole, so far the results are not anything I’m proud of. What is important is that I’m determined to improve my game.
I continue to work diligently on my swing. Since I started taking lessons at the end of October, I have dismantled my swing and begun to build a brand new one. It is the most difficult thing I’ve ever done. Progress is incremental at best and my patience is tested on a daily basis.
